Methodological resources to implement Participative Action Research (PAR)
Methodological Framework for Participatory Action Research
This collection of methodological sheets presents a coherent and operational framework for implementing Participatory Action Research (PAR) in agricultural and rural development contexts. It is intended for facilitators, technicians, researchers, and farmer organisations engaged in processes that aim to strengthen farmers’ capacity to analyse their situations, experiment, learn collectively, and act on the conditions that shape their livelihoods.
The document draws on concrete field experience and capitalisation work conducted within the MINPAD project and the FORI programme in Philippines, while being firmly anchored in the methodological foundations of the Social Construction of Demand (SCD) and GERDAL- Coactive Search of solution approaches.
