The Value chain approach : concepts, benefits and risks for family farming
, 15 October 2013
Wednesday 27th November, the CSA organized a seminar in Brussels which has gathered different farmers’ organizations from the North and the South, as well as NGOs, agri-agencies, researchers and policy-makers in order to analyze the value chain approach and its risks and benefits.
Beyond the theoretical and methodological inputs, it will also be important to step back from the approach and to question the value chain approach’s impact on family farming in the North as well as in the South countries.
The seminar aimed at provoking a collective reflection on the organization of agriculture in value chains.
